Network Groups & Funding

Our core commitment is to make sure that people living, working, or volunteering in the Teams area can help shape their community, as part of this role we host 3 monthly network groups that discuss key issues - young people, older people, and health & environment. When we consulted with local people these issues were highlighted as the most important, so we set aside £10,000 per year for each of the network groups to spend on projects they want to support. This funding can only be accessed by members of the networks, if you have a project you would like to discuss then please get in touch.

The network groups are open to all, but most commonly attended by people working as volunteers or professionals from other community-minded organisations such as charities, care homes, medical practices, and schools. The groups allow us to keep up with projects going on in the area, offer support to each other, and promote collaboration. If you are interested in joining one of our network groups please get in touch, we’d love to have you!

You can see the upcoming dates for the network meetings or download a copy of the previous minutes below. For the time being we are meeting on Zoom, but will resume meetings in the community as soon as we’re able.
